Kiesah Hakeem is an accomplished R&B/Pop singer, vocal arranger, and songwriter whose career began as lead vocalist of the family group Royalty, signed to Warner Brothers Records. She has collaborated with legendary producers and artists including Atlantic Star, Teddy Riley, Full Force, Jodeci, Gerald Levert, and contributed songwriting for stars such as Brandy, Tamia, Keisha Cole, Fabolous, Amerie, Nick Cannon, Jay-Z, Nas, and even the iconic Gladys Knight’s Grammy-winning album Greatest Love of All.

Her talents extend beyond music into film, television, and theater, with appearances in Beauty Shop and Toys, soundtrack credits for You Got Served, Wild Wild West, Earth Girls Are Easy, and The Color Purple (under Quincy Jones), as well as writing the theme song for Will Smith and Jada Pinkett’s hit sitcom All of Us. She has also performed in stage productions including Sisterella, Motown Play, and Motown Review.

Now, Kiesah expands her artistry into literature, partnering with Michael McGrew’s Legacy Publishing for her debut as an author. Their first release, Room 111, explores the turbulent life of a male R&B singer navigating fame, its hidden costs, and the music industry’s untold truths.
